Recently i receive a nice package from TotalRust Music a record label from Israel. It contains the debut album from Remembrance a funeral doom / death metal band from France. The band last March released their first EP and only few months later they singed a deal with this label and released their new album with the title "Frail Visions" which we can find eight songs and more than one hour of pure metal music. Their direction is doom and death metal with a great combination of growls and melodies and as usual the keyboards are the responsible for the whole atmosphere. But Remembrance has created some really great compositions with interesting ideas and their music structure is good even if sometimes you need to have a clean head in order to understand the vision from them and to feel their emotions and to take the ticket for this trip to the unknown and doom land of Remembrance. It is one of the few times that i respect the metal scene from France. With bands like Remembrance or Malediction and Adagio, this scene will have some progress. I am really happy that i had the chance to hear this album in the same day that i heard the new album from Forsaken too.
